A quick second post showing you a few more of my favourite images from my visit to the focus show at the chelsea design centre!
Remains Lighting
An exceptional range of different lighting and mirrors but for me it was the globe designs that really had me excited. With their antique look mixed with a slight modern twist, "the pendant references a form of historical factory lighting where the glass was netted for safety". I love the different styles and sizes! I imagine them taking the central space in a living/dining area, creating a warm glow through the netted glass...
This is a company which showcases the best of European design but it was the Kenzo Maison and Fendi display that caught my attention the most with their floral patterns...especially the japanese style fabric stool.
Wired Custom Lighting
Make a statement in your space with a lighting design you are proud.
Original BTC
Detail, quality and an important use of materials are all key to the production of Original BTC's lighting designs. Inspiration is drawn from all areas but a relaxed and a functional light is the overall style, making sure that their designs will fit perfectly in any setting!
A quirky collection of art deco tea cups and pots lighting pendants, make it fun!
Davey lighting was originally part of Davey and co when established in London in 1885 and now supples marine, industrial and decorative lighting. I just love love LOVE all the styles!!
Armani/Casa
The most dramatic showroom of the day due to completely representing the Armani brand, creating a distinctive atmosphere of seamless elegance. The walls are lined in polycarbonate which are softly illuminated to create several divisions for the living, dining and bedroom spaces. "...providing a platform for Giorgio Armani to set out his vision of the living space: an intimate and very special place, at one and the same time both comfortable and sophisticated." Furniture, tablewear, textiles, lighting, decorative objects even gifts, were all on display in the showroom, helping the viewer to understand what it feels to be
